Alex has built his life around routine. The same train into London, the same seat and the same careful distance from everyone around him. Then Daniel appears across the aisle.

Their connection feels immediate. A shared love of music leads to an unexpected encounter, then to something neither man can easily explain. But as Alex allows Daniel into his life, unsettling fragments of another story begin to surface.

An old photograph suggests they met long before either of them remembers. A hidden file contains Alex's name, his face and details of a life he does not recognise. Every answer reveals another version of the past, each more convincing than the last.

Someone has been watching them. Someone knows what they will do next. And the closer Alex gets to the truth, the harder it becomes to tell where his own choices end and somebody else's design begins.

To discover who he really is, Alex must question his memories, his relationship and the one person he most wants to trust.

A political novel in development

The Right Honourable Bastard

Power is inherited. Loyalty is expected. Choices will define you.

Edward Ashcombe is everything Britain expects old power to look like: composed, privileged and devastatingly effective. An immaculate Foreign Secretary with a gift for making the House of Commons bend his way, he has inherited a name that has shaped governments for generations—and built a private machinery of influence every bit as formidable as his public reputation.

At the Ashcombe estate, however, power is a family affair. His wife Catherine protects the dynasty with quiet precision; Belle is determined to succeed on her own terms; Alex treats inheritance as permission to live without consequence; and Sophie keeps her distance while her place at the family table remains waiting. As Edward senses an opportunity to reshape the country, old loyalties begin to tighten and the Ashcombe legacy becomes both his greatest strength and his most dangerous weakness.
